We are looking for a Business Development Manager who can talk to Small and Medium Builders and sell our products to them.
Important Skill: Ability to sell and close orders!
Experience Type: Sales at customer site/office (not retail showroom sales)
Industry Experience: Selling any construction material (such as Cement, TMT Steel, Pipes, RMC, etc)
Experience Location: Only apply if currently working in Chennai
Languages: English, Tamil

Job Responsibilities: Identify and procure potential or new business clients.
Generating business leads.
Create new business opportunities by meeting new clients.
Maintaining good rapport with the existing clients.

New business and attending industry events in order to generate business leads

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES
To manage the relationship with the e-commerce platform provider - currently Vendor
Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
Examining risks and potentials, estimating partners (Vendors) needs and goals.
Prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients.
Working with the internal team, marketing staff, and other managers to increase sales opportunities and there by maximize revenue for the organization.
Manage existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive.
Will call on clients, often being required to make presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict their clients' future needs.

Identify the potential customers from the incoming leads & covert them into sales
Manage the key accounts of targeted premium customers (builders, contractors and architects)

Creating awareness of Civilkart in the community through a system of business networking channels
Strategy approach to meet the individual and team target, analysis of P&L of the team
Manage the key accounts of targeted premium customers (builders, contractors and architects)
You will be responsible to organize & participate in builder meets on a regular basis to exchange views.
Interact with the mSupply's supplier engagement team (Purchase team) to get the best quote for the enquiries of customer
